Peter and the band are awesome in concert. If you have a show near you go, it is worth every penny.

This band is awesome live!

On this page I'll include reviews of the shows I've seen by this band, both recently and in years past. I'll also include reviews that others send me.

July 20, 2001 Marcus Amphitheater, Milwaukee,WI

It was a very hot, humid evening at this outdoor event. I was wondering how the bands was going to perform in the heat. They didn't disappoint, they seemed to rock right through it all, made me forget about being hot and sweaty. John Waite opened for Peter, he did a great job. He sang songs from the Baby's and Bad English, both groups he was in. Neal Schon came onstage for a song and added his wonderful guitar playing to the mix. Okay, almost time for Peter now. The music started , the band walked on the stage and here comes Peter, YEAH!. He started the show with a new, unreleased song called "Verge of a Thing", can't wait to hear more new songs. He really worked the crowd and he played the favorites for all to hear.Unfortunately, one bad incident happened, security had tried to eject myself and a fellow fof member for taking pictures or we would have to surrender our film to stay. Well neither of us were about to give up our film, but Peter came to our rescue and gestured for us to go back to our seats and gave security the no, no wave with his finger. The crowd cheered and we were saved and back to enjoying the show. I don't know how Peter does it, but he keeps getting better and better. His bandmates are so very special too. I was able to talk to John(BOTB) before the show, he is so sweet.
On to Journey, fabulous job by all. Steve Augeri can sing, regardless what the critics may say. He isn't trying to be Steve Perry, but just make the fans happy who want to hear the old stuff. I was hoping they would have played more from Arrival, but all in all, a great show and performance by everyone.

Target Center , Mpls,MN review of show

This show was awsome. John Waite once again did a fantastic job. It was a tough crowd for John and Peter since it was obvious that most of the crowd was there for Journey. Peter managed to get the crowd on their feet, he made a lot of jokes and just had fun. I feel that both John and Peter were given a shorter time to play then in WI. Peter was so awsome though. My daughter was with me in the 5th row and had a great time. She sang along with all the songs and when Journey came on she was able to get one of their guitar picks. After the show through the help of some wonderful Frampton family members , my daughter and I were able to go backstage and meet Journey. It was a dream come true for me, I not only have met Peter , my favorite musician , but now I got to meet my favorite band. I wish everyone could have seen my daughters face light up as she got to meet Steve Augeri, it was so cute. Then we were able to get our picture taken with Steve too. All and all a great night.

Cincinatti Concert Review December 2001

What can I say, it was an awsome night of music. Along with the excitement of the show there was a silent auction going on with lots of unique items up for bid including a plate that was designed by Peter. Of course all of the bands were great and then the highlight of the evening was Peter and the band. Peter surprised us by playing While My Guitar Gently Weeps for an encore and of course mentioning the passing of the great legend George Harrison. After the show was a meet and greet, it was very fun. A lot of the bands from the show were there to meet the fans and Peter and John were there as well meeting all the fans. The Fof that gathered at the show bid their farwells at the end of the show and now we all have to plan our next trip. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the road crew who made all the shows possible this summer and all the fof and general fans of Peter for the wonderful time I had this year. I enjoyed meeting everyone. I hope the New Year brings many more fond memories.
